The drive from Falmouth is around 9.8 miles and takes roughly 16 minutes, heading north on the A39 towards Truro and turning off towards Feock and Devoran. It is a straightforward run that avoids Truro city centre altogether, which is often quicker than crossing town in the middle of the day.

Bus is possible but slow. The 493 and 32 services connect Falmouth and Feock with a change, and the journey takes closer to an hour and three quarters, so most clients travelling from Falmouth drive.

Every course begins with a consultation and patch test, from £15. The consultation covers your skin type, hair type and medical history, and sets out what is realistic for the area you want treated. The patch test is carried out at least 24 hours before your first full session so we can confirm the settings are safe for you.

Sessions themselves are quick. Smaller areas such as the upper lip take a matter of minutes; larger areas such as full legs take longer. Most people describe the sensation as a brief snap against the skin rather than sustained pain.
